4:30 a.m. Report time – Go directly to band room for attendance with instrument. Remember Black Socks. Guard do hair and makeup on the bus. Travel to Plainfield High School.
4:40 a.m. Depart for Plainfield High School
8:30 am. ET Arrive at Plainfield High School for rehearsal
Unload equipment. Bathrooms. Rehearsal
10:30 ET Dismiss rehearsal. Eat sack lunch provided. Load equipment. Change into uniform
12:00 p.m. ET Depart for Lucas Oil Stadium.
12:35 ET Arrive at Lucas Oil Stadium – Use bathroom, get small instruments, dress into uniform. Get hats and plumes. Drum major podium goes to warm-up

This will be the 11th ISSMA State Finals appearance for the Marching Tigers and the most recent since 1991 (over 28 years ago). This is a huge honor for the band program and all of the students, staff and parents that have added to the rich tradition of our program.
Always remember what it takes to get to this level of competition. Remember all of the sacrifice, hard work, dedication, and expense that was needed to arrive at this moment. This band has added itself to a storied tradition. From this moment on, future members of the Marching Tigers will see “2019” as the beginning of a new era. Future students will look at this year’s band as an example of success. This is something that cannot be taken away from this band. No judge, rating, ranking, placement, or comment can ever take this honor away from the students. Keep this in mind during the awards ceremony. We have already been successful this season and our goals of improving have been met. Enjoy State Finals and do not get too discouraged or excited with the placing. However, DO get excited and encouraged to produce the best performance of the season and possibly of our program’s history. Remember – Luck is where preparation meets opportunity. Our preparation is complete! It is now time to take advantage of the opportunity in front of us.
